Aung San Suu Kyi Arbitrary Detention is in violation of international law. It is time to free the most renowned political prisoner after Nelson Mandela.

For her 65th birthday on 19 June, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Burma’s pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi has become the first recipient of the new Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Award for Democracy. Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees the right freedom of opinion, fair trial and not to be arbitrarily detained.

Sanctions should be vote by G20 and G8 government to countries accepting to trade with Aung San Suu Kyi jailor’s country until she is freed. India and China are on the front line because they are after North Korea supporting the most Aung San Suu Kyi jailor’s country. Is G20 serious when its leaders speak of Human Rights?
