This film reveals details of the beginnings of a nuclear weapons programme inside Burma for the first time.

After a five year investigation into military activities, DVB has discovered that Burma is experimenting with uranium, trying to develop nuclear weapons.  With thousands of files smuggled out the country, defectors accounts and expert analysis we can say for the first time that there is hard evidence that Burma is pursuing a goal to produce nuclear weapons.

Nuclear Scientist and former IAEA director Bob Kelley reviewed the photographs and told DVB that the items that are being made in the factories “catch your eye right away” if you are in the nuclear business:

“Your source has provided a lot of good quality photographs of items that would appear to be very useful in a nuclear programme they are rather specific to nuclear uses.  They could be used for other things but they look like they were designed for a nuclear programme.”
